Your 'Uncle was a big man physically, mentally and spiritually' by this account and it is just such accounts of people's lives that make attending funerals such a positive experience in my book. We live with and around many people, not really knowing them well. We generally, self-limit our relationships with most people, even those who are 'close to us'. We see & experince just a small slice of the other's person's pie, ... in time, in confidence, in shared life events, in stories told and heard, etc... but when we get a chance to hear and experience a much larger portion of a significant person's life pie, we come to know more fully the scope and reach of that persons life. What a blessing: true heroes are found, legacies & lives live on in the stories we share, examples and answers to model our lives after. God Bless you for Sharing - And it is time that I start living up to my family name and heritage as well. Rob,

What will be said of us when we pass? Sorry for your loss, 82 years old. i really do not think we are made of such strong stuff. A big part of the problems churches will face is the loss of this generation of servants. There is no replacement lined up. A life well lived. What will be said of us when we pass?
